The MAX233CPP is especially useful in battery-powered system low-power shutdown mode reduce power dissipation to less than 5μW. Applications of the MAX233CPP include: Portable Computers, Low-Power Modems, Interface Translation, Battery-Powered RS-232 Systems
and Multidrop RS-232 Networks.
